Reflect on your past six months. What are you most proud of and why?

I have several goals for 2022. Among them, maybe the golden prize will be that my mental care technic has been improved.

It is a story about 'the power of vulnerability' in Brene Brown in the TED talks. In short, in my view, when people open their vulnerability honestly, vulnerability makes them not shameful but friendly. And, people who care about their own vulnerability kindly care also for their family and friends kindly.

Throughout my life, I suffer from finding out a deep motivation to improve my life. In my early days, my competitive spirit was the motivation. I studied in order to excel and win against my classmates in the class. But I know this kind of mental strategy is harmful and toxic to both me and others. After growing up, I changed my mental strategy to productivity. To improve productivity, I used a strict daily schedule, to do list, and yearly plan. However, I have felt still something missing. That was a lack of humanity. With those productivity tools, it is true my productivity has leveled up dramatically but I can't think I became a better person. Productivity doesn't warm my heart.

In the end, I found out vulnerability. It can be paraphrased into a kind of honesty although honesty is a broader term. With this vulnerability, I can care for my vulnerability kindly and warmly. After I experience this warm and kind mental care, I easily can speak kindly and take care of my loving people warmly. I can focus on my vulnerability to knowledge and study hard in an amicable atmosphere than a competitive spirit or productivity spirit. So, I think learning the power of vulnerability is my best achievement in the half of 2022.
